Product Introduction

styrene is a colorless and transparent liquid with a special aromatic odor, the chemical formula is C8H8, and the molecular weight is 104.15g/mol. Styrene has a boiling point of 145°C and a density of about 0.906 g/cm & sup3;(20°C). Styrene is insoluble in water, but it is miscible with most organic solvents such as ethanol and ether.

plastic industry: Styrene is an important monomer for the production of polystyrene (PS), high impact polystyrene (HIPS), expanded polystyrene (EPS) and other plastics.
Synthetic rubber: Styrene and butadiene are copolymerized to produce aging-resistant, oil-resistant and wear-resistant styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), and its output ranks first in synthetic rubber.
Engineering plastics: styrene and acrylonitrile (A), butadiene (B) trimerization of ABS resin, widely used in various household appliances and industrial instruments.
Ion exchange resin: styrene and a small amount of divinylbenzene copolymerization, and then sulfonated, the preparation of styrene-type acid cation exchange resin.
